There was once a time where, Life was with Death. It was in a forest, far from the reach of men; a small forest where every living creature resides. From small birds, to large elephants. It was a typical they for them to take a stroll, and for them to be together at one place.
However; it is quite rare for them to be at one place; and it sometimes result to; unpredictable consequences so they don't stay together too long. All they can have is a small chat and that's it.
Life was a very beautiful girl, as the fragrance of fresh flowers and all aromas that is good and pure comes with her. Her hair of dazzling beauty comes with colors of those like the rainbow after the rain; her skin that glows like the glittering, blinding light, and as soft as a baby's skin; and her eyes; just like gems, hidden in the mountains, and like stars that are in the night sky. She is in fact, beloved by all the creatures in the forest, but Death, was the exact opposite.
He is hated and feared by the creatures that resides dwells, he walks around in the forest with an aura that is haunting and dis-satisfying, everything avoids him. Everything he touches instantly dies, and his aura does the same; the flowerbeds and bushes that he walks by instantly witters and becomes dry. His eyes, dark as the heavens can make it more darker, his skin that is deadly to anything that touches it, and his head, covered in a hood, with horns of un-describable feature sticks out.
As they both saw each other, the creatures quickly ran away, as Life was sitting right where Death will pass. They know that them being together in one place brings bad luck, so they hurried and chat as much as they can.
"Death..." Life calls out as her voice echoes through the forest, while Death only continues and looks at her with those lifeless eyes.
"I want to ask you, why does everyone dislikes you?" Life finally asks, but Death keeps going in a slow pace.
"Even the men, all of men; dislikes you, and despises you. While me; they embrace me with open arms. Why is that?" she continues. As Death passes her, a bird accidentally bumps into his right shoulder, but he didn't bother to look, the bird, instantly dies while Life picks the dead bird up.
"Because--" Death said, as Life listens closely as she look at the lifeless corpse.
"Because you're beauty, baffles them; for they have never seen such beauty before; leaving them uttering no words, for they think that no word can even describe you..." Death said to her, as she finally lets go of the bird.
"while me; they despise the most because; well; my looks says it all..." Death finishes, but Life turns to him.
"I, do not understand..." Life said to Death. He stops walking and slowly turns to face her.
"To put it simply, my dear. Everyone loves everything that is good, you are good, simply because of how you look, and how you make them appear to look, while me, I am the result of everything that will eventually; meet..." Death said, as Life was silent.
"They do not want to meet me right away; but the thing is; they will; and I do, truly, lasts forever..." he said as he walks slowly away, while Life was there, sad, thinking about what Death just said, and she suddenly said something.
"So, I am a beautiful, and glorious lie..." she said as Death walks away; but having heard this, Death smirks to his friend's conclusion.
"Yes my dear Life; you are a beautiful lie, and I; as much as people and creatures alike denies; is a painful, and horrible truth..." he said, then finally walks away, and disappears completely; while Life, heads on to her own path.
